The Creator of Empress Flow
Hello. I’m Ria, the practitioner behind Empress Flow.
I'm Ria. I've been a Usui Reiki master teacher for a decade. I've also been, at various points, someone who gave away absolutely everything and forgot to save anything for herself.
I came to healing work the way most people do: through the necessity of it. After years of doing everything for everyone, running on fumes and calling it strength, my body eventually had something to say about that. It said it loudly and I finally listened.
What followed was a decade of learning. Reiki, energy medicine, the Thinking Environment (Nancy Kline's work on what it takes to create conditions for truly independent thinking), transactional analysis, and the ongoing, humbling, wonderful study of what it means to be human.
And alongside all of that: cooking. Properly. With love poured in.
Always feeding people. Always happiest with a kitchen full of something slow-cooking on the stove and people around the table.
Empress Flow came out of that intersection. The healer and the cook, the practitioner and the host.
The woman who spent years setting herself on fire to keep others warm and finally learned to tend her own flame.
What I know now - and what I want every woman who comes through my door to experience - is this: receiving is not selfishness. It is sovereignty.
The Empress doesn't apologise for taking up space. She fills the room and invites everyone in.

Find Your Flow
The Empress is the third card in the tarot's Major Arcana.
She is abundance and creativity, fertility and nature, the sacred feminine and the maternal.
She gives freely and she also receives fully. She is never depleted, because she knows that giving and receiving are the same river, flowing in both directions.
That is what I aspire to hold for the women who come to me.
That is what Empress Flow is for.
